Ages 6-10
We are excited to debut a new garden club for children between the ages of six and ten in 2019! This club will be more STEAM based and will touch on some more complicated gardening ideas like irrigation, hydroponics, ecosystems, filtration, etc. Listed below is an itinerary of what we will be doing this summer.

$20.00 per child, per session or book all three and pay only $55.00 per child.
All club meetings last about 1 hour. If a time change is necessary, you will be contacted ahead of time.
Meeting #1: Hydroponics vs. Soil
Date: June 29th, 2019 Time: 10:30 - 11:30 am
Which is faster, hydroponics or soil? Come experiment with us and find out!
Project: Micro-hydroponics
Meeting #2: Greenhouses
Date: July 20th, 2019 Time: 10:30 - 11:30 am
How do greenhouses work? We will dig into what is needed to have a successful greenhouse and then the kids will get to design and build their own!
Project: Mini Greenhouse Challenge
Meeting #3: Anatomy of Plants
Date: August 10th, 2019 Time: 10:30 - 11:30 am
We are going to dissect plants and then, using the parts we discovered, create a beautiful work of art!
